This chapter was mainly reading but still i learnt alot about different types of information and how it is represented in different forms. these different forms are:

-Questionnaires
-Web sites
-On-line forms
-Faxes
-Flyers
-Memos
-E-mails
-Agendas
-Minutes
-Itineraries
-sales and Marketing Budgets
-Invoices and delivery notes

I had heard of all these typs of documents before but not understood some of them in great detail.

Now this Unit has been completed i feel i know alot more about producing information and how to present it in many different ways.

I found this chapter quite tricky as it was quite long and alot of stuff was new to me. I don't use Powerpoint alot so this was quite a challenge. However i soon got the hang of the program and found that it had alot of similarities to MS Word. The steps were quite easy to follow as soon as i had got to grips with the new layout.

I have learnt many new skills doing this. Too many to point out. But they are mainly the basics of Powerpoint. Such as opening existing files and starting new ones. I can also open and close the slideshow viewer. I can add a chart to my presentation along with text and pictures.

All these new skills will come in very useful in the future.

This chapter was quite short and i did know some of the information already. However i have learnt a few new skills, these include:

-Using document template files
-Inserting certain fields eg. the date.

I feel this chapter was quite easy but it was worth it as i learnt a few new skills.

I have learnt alot in this chapter. This is mainly because i don't normally deal with long documents which need and index, bibliography or contents page. I found this chapter the most challenging so far.

The main key skills that i have gained from this chapter are:

- Dealing with multi-page documents/reports eg. Splitting titles and subheadings.
- Creating a contents page, and index and a bibliography
- Inserting captions, figures and cross-references

These will prove to be very useful when I want to produce a multi-page documents and reports.

This chapter proved quite helpful as many of the points were things that I knew how to do but not in a very detailed way.

These were mainly:

·	Use of the different types of dictionaries
·	The thesaurus
·	Producing draft copies
·	The different symbols for proofreading

The task I found the most difficult was the proof reading. I didn’t realize there were so many symbols for proofreading and have now learnt many more.

Throughout doing this chapter it became apparent that I knew how to do many of skills that were being demonstrated. These include inserting paragraphs, headers, footers and tables etc.
However by doing this chapter I have acquired a number of new skills.

I now know how to use the following tools.

·	Pagination
·	The use of sounds
·	How to work with tables in an easier way

Overall I found that this chapter was quite helpful yet easy, this was because I already knew how to do most of the points that were shown.
